Delete your Duke account

This page explains how to ask Duke Education Pty Ltd (RTO 22497) to delete your account in the Duke app and the personal information we hold about you.

What we delete

When we action your request, we delete your login and profile details, contact details, support messages and uploaded files, except where the law requires us to keep them.

What we have to keep

As a registered training organisation regulated by the Australian Skills Quality Authority (ASQA), we must keep some records after your account is deleted:

  • records of any qualification or statement of attainment we issue you, for 30 years
  • your completed assessments, for 2 years from the date your result was decided
  • your enrolment details, results and Unique Student Identifier (USI)
  • records we need to meet our legal and regulatory obligations, handle complaints or appeals, or resolve a dispute

We must also report your training activity to the National Centre for Vocational Education Research (NCVER). Once reported, this information is held by NCVER, so we can't delete it. Your USI account is managed by the Student Identifiers Registrar, so deleting your Duke account doesn't close it.

We keep these records securely, never use them to contact you, and destroy or de-identify them when the retention period ends. You can still get a copy of your qualification from us, or view your training transcript at usi.gov.au.

How to request deletion

Email us at the address below from the email address on your account, and ask us to delete your Duke account. We'll confirm your identity, tell you what will be deleted and what we have to keep, and action your request.
